Swedish immigrant Carl Jarl came to Omaha to start a locksmithing company in 1892. His first office was located at 17th and Leavenworth Streets, and his first mobile service was a horse-drawn cart that he used to transport safes and other materials.
In 1963, Carl's family decided to sell the business to another Omaha-owned company, Pioneer Lock. Because of the professional reputation Carl Jarl had achieved, the new owners decided to keep the name and build upon his success.
Fifty years later, Carl Jarl is still the provider Omaha residents call for fast, dependable service. We offer our customers security, safety and peace of mind.
